From the Assistant Principal

From Mrs Hopkins' office....

Recently we have published several new policies. 2 of these may interest you and are attached below. The Food Sharing Policy and the Dogs at School Policy. Please take a read and note how these may affect your family, particularly in terms of bringing pets to school and also sharing food on birthdays and special occasions.

Head Lice

'Tis the season to be itchy! Please see attached some information regarding the treatment and control of head lice. It is important that if you do find head lice that you check all family members (with comb and conditioner) and that pillow cases are washed on a hot cycle.

Footy Maths Day

On Thursday 19th of September we will be holding our annual Footy Maths Day. It will be a day filled with really fantastic maths activities and games planned by teachers. Students (and staff!) are invited to come along dressed in their favourite team colours. As part of your outfit, please include a number (like a players number) somewhere on your outfit. The number should be between 1-99.

This year our Junior School Council have added a charity drive to our Footy Day. Instead of a gold coin, students are asked to bring a non-perishable food or toiletry item. The Kalinda collection will be donated to the Food for Families campaign. Thank you to the students of the JSC for selecting this worthy local cause.

We are kind. We are resilient. We are respectful.
