Student Led Conferences

We are delighted to announce Student Led Conferences will be returning in Week 9 of Term 2, 2023.

Each conference will run for 15 minutes and will include the student, parent or carer and classroom teacher/s. The first 8-10 minutes is for the conference and the remaining 5 minutes is offered if a discussion is required between the parent and teacher only.

Foundation children are not required to attend these meetings, as we are allowing Foundation families the 15 minutes to discuss your child's learning.

Your child will lead a discussion about their learning and may refer to work samples in their My Learning Folder, workbooks and their iPad. Students will prepare for the conference during class time. The My Learning Folder will be sent home for you to keep at the end of the school year.

The Student-Led Conferences can be booked via Compass. The booking portal is open and will close on Friday 16th June 3.30pm. This year, we have added an option to request a translator in your preferred language to attend your child's learning conference. We will then try our best to have a translator of your preferred language attend the learning conference with you. We hope this could further support our families. Please contact the office if you have additional questions about this.
