Coding

Every Friday lunch break students in Year 3 have been coming together to explore the world of coding. This term they have had a blast exploring the Hour of Code site and Scratch projects. Students have shared some of their thoughts about their time in Coding Club below.

Next term students from Stage 2 will be invited to join us for a term coding project. Students will spend each week learning how to code different features relating to block coding. At the end of the term they will complete a coding project. We can’t wait to see what they create.

Sasha – “My favourite part of coding is  working on Minecraft Hero of Journey."

Panos - “It helps me with my coding and it is extremely fun!”

Emily – “Coding has helped me with my computer skills and I can’t wait to learn even more.”

Nathaniel – “It’s fun because you get to play games that “they teach you how to do things on the computer.”

Reece – “You can play different games whilst you learn to code.”

Charlie – “My favourite thing to do in coding is to learn new things."
