Year 6

Laura Courtenay

In Year 6 we have been looking at angles of a revolution. Students used geometric shapes to create an angle of revolution and then used protractors to accurately measure each angle. Occasionally we found when we added the angles together, they did not add up to 360 degree, so they had to remeasure their angles to make sure they were being accurate. Some students worked on their knowledge of angles in 2D shapes and supplementary and complementary angles to solve unknown angles.
