Wellbeing and Engagement

What a wonderful start to the new Term we have had so far! With the news of our mini celebrity Mr Evans, and the Magic Academy presentation, the first assembly was an event in itself!

Leadership Incursion

Our Grade 6 students all participated in a spectacular Leadership Incursion UP on Friday last week and worked on their teamwork, resilience and grit! This was a fabulous follow on from the MAT Life Skills Program and was a warm up for Grade 6 camp later this term.

The Fathering Project

We had our Fathering Project Launch on Monday night which was a huge success! Thank you to our Dad Leaders – Chris Roche, Simon Tan &  Sartaj Singh. If you missed the event that is fine – you can join the group with the QR code below and be invited to all of the events throughout the year. Some for just dads and some for dads and kids together. We are very excited about this wonderful new initiative at Rangeview.

Assemblies Update

We are delighted to welcome parents back to our onsite assemblies in the gym. If your child is receiving an award, presenting or running the assembly please feel free to join us at school if you are available. We ask that you sign in using the QR code at the door and practice social distancing. We will continue to also run the WebEx for those parents who cannot attend in person.

We are so thrilled to have parents returning properly onsite.

Principal Internship

As an update – I have been fortunate to be included into a Monash qualification called Unlocking Potential. This is a Bastow leadership course with a focus on Principal Preparation. I will complete a Principal Internship for 4 weeks at Milgate Primary School in Doncaster shadowing their Principal and leadership team. I will not be at Rangeview from Monday 3rd May to Thursday 3rd June. Meg Hubbard our Wellbeing and Engagement Leading Teacher will be Acting Assistant Principal in my absence and she will be fantastic. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity and will return to Rangeview with lots of great new ideas.

Magic Academy

We have a new lunchtime club starting up at Rangeview – Magic Academy. This will run on a Monday lunchtime for all ages. This group comes highly recommended from our friends at Eastwood Primary School. Please register with the academy directly.
