Youth Leadership

YAG (youth Advisory Group) Mt Alexander Shires local team of young leaders has organised a leadership workshop on the Easter holidays on the 7th of April 9.45am-4pm. Some of our SRC members will be attending the workshop. At this workshop we will be learning basic leadership skills such as, public speaking, event management and more. We strongly encourage if you are interested in community involvement that you come.

CANTEEN UPDATE

If your student has had trouble getting to the front of the line we strongly encourage our brand new innovative solution to get lunch on time.

  1. Instead of buying lunch at lunch time, simply order it at recess then line up in a smaller line where everyone is just picking their food up.
  2. Just a reminder we are not able to pay with phones, cards and cash will be the only accepted payment method.
  3. We also would like students to be reminded, if you're going to just buy something from the canteen...you don't need your whole social support team in the line waiting with you. This creates the unnecessary situation that is not covid safe plus it means the lines look super long and congested.
