Cross Country Training!
Cross Country Training!

We held our first training session in preparation for the event on Monday. It was great to see a number of students so keen to improve their running! Thanks to Brad for leading the session and sharing his expertise.

The next training will be Monday 10th May at 7.45am, all welcome!

Physical Education

This term all students are preparing for Cross Country by joining some running at the beginning of each PE lesson. The Junior students are learning to persevere when running for a longer distance and the Senior's are considering strategies and exploring the idea of pace.

The Prep - 2 students will also be learning and developing their kicking and dribbling (Soccer) skills, 3/4's learning the skills of Lacrosse and 5/6's strategic play in modified AFL.

We are looking forward to an awesome Term 2 in PE!

Sink or Swim Incursions

LSV Sink or Swim Program
LSV Sink or Swim Program

On Monday, our Prep & Grade 1/2 students learnt about water safety from the expertise of a surf lifesaver. This interactive program empowers students to keep themselves and others safe in a range of aquatic environments including, beaches, rivers, lakes, pools and the home, through engaging practical activities.

These sessions were run by Life Saving Victoria and have been supported by the Maroondah Council. What a great opportunity!

Keep Active!
