Chromebooks

We are excited to announce that our new Chromebooks have arrived!!

These chromebooks will be used by our Years 3 & 4 students, meaning that Holy Spirit now has one-to-one chromebooks in the senior school (3-6 students). Chromebooks are wonderful tools to aid and support learning within the classroom environment. They will also assist Holy Spirit with our Remote Learning plan, should we ever need to go down that path again.

New Playground

Last week saw the opening of our new playground equipment which is very exciting. Last year a group of students (now Year 6) took part in a STEM challenge where they had to design a playground. 3 groups of students became finalists and their designs were used to create our final piece. These Year 6 students should be incredibly proud of all their efforts and how well they have conducted themselves thus far, being responsible for the timetable and safety regulations. It has been amazing working with each of them and I cannot wait to continue this further. An official opening of our playground will be completed at a later stage in the term.

Currently, we are rotating each year level every Recess and Lunch, providing them with an opportunity to play safely on this equipment. The final decision of which year level/s will be able to use this equipment is up to the team of Year 6 students!!

We cannot wait to share our learning journey with you all.
