Safety in the Workplace

The unit of study for Work Related Skills involves a student focus on safety in the workplace. Students complete various activities, including familiarising themselves with the OH&S Act, meeting an OH&S representative and asking questions regarding OH&S in the workplace. Students then prepare risk assessments based on their observations on construction sites which are currently on the school grounds.
