EngGirls – Peppermint Scrub

As part of STEM week, the EngGirls under the guidance of Dr Adele Hudson - Head of Science, created a cleaning product (Peppermint Scrub) that is ecofriendly, meaning it is not harmful to the environment.

Peppermint scrub is a cleaning product that can be used in all areas of the home. Examples include:

• Scrubbing stains off pots
• Cleaning tiles and shower screens in the bathroom
• Removing stains from clothing
• Cleaning and refreshing the refrigerator and freezer.

The biodegradable scrub is made from ingredients such as sodium bicarbonate, water, sodium laureth, cocamidopropyl betaine, ethanol, lactic acid, poloxamer and fragrance.
