Junior Boarding

Junior boy’s have been enjoying afternoon activities and our regular outings down town shopping. We had Pizza night recently and the boys watched the footy on TV as well. 

Rusty Kenningdale traveled to Forbes to play in trials for the NSW western side. From there he was picked to represent Southern country in Sydney. Rusty was then chosen for the NSW country side team . This game will be played in the first week of the school holidays. Outstanding ! well done Rusty!

 Several junior boy’s played in the Currie Cup. KCC won 57-19  MDCC, what an amazing effort! well done to Ewan Middleton, Tom Scott and Will Marsh. Will Marsh also made the CCC state tryouts in Albury. A special mention for Angus Williams  who made the tryouts for the Combined Catholic Colleges U/15s side  in Penrith. 

Albert Middleton competed in his 2nd chess tournament which was held on Friday 7th of May.  Alberts team was made up of four boards,1,2,3,4 Ranked highest to lowest. Albert PLayed board 1 and won.  What a fantastic achievement ! Well done Albert.

from MDCC we had Roary, Abby.R and Darcie playing and from KCC we had Lou and Lilly.

With the cold weather coming in the girls are starting to rug up. Oodies jumpers are the new fashion of the boarding house. Below we have Chelsea modeling a beautiful handmade Oodie her mum made.

Evie, Olivia and Claire have taken up gymnastics which they are very excited about. In the picture below we have Claire and Evie showing off what they have been learning.

There have been some changes around the boarding house, the staff room has had a facelift with some new art and fresh flowers. The year 8, 9, 10 aria now has a sofa for the girls to chill out on and the junior girls meeting aria now has a large new blackboard for notasis.
