Mothers Day Morning Tea

Friday 5th May, grades Prep to 6 went to the multipurpose room to purchase a present for their mother, grandmother or a special woman in their life. There was a great range of presents all at the low price of $5 with the choice of a raffle ticket at the price of $1 each. After we got our mums some presents, kids and mothers gathered in the Open Learning Area to have some tea, coffee, and scones with jam and cream – they were delicious! The entire space was decked out in pink in honour of our mums.

The school captains Max and Tasharn read out a Mother’s Day poem each that they had written. There were lots of good comments about the School Choir and the song ‘Firefly’ that they sang. The tables and display boards were amazing and very creative. Overall, the morning tea was a great success and we hope you will have a lot of happy mothers at home tonight!

We would like to give a huge shout out to all the people that helped to organise today’s Mother’s Day events.

Make sure to show your female relatives lots of love this Mother’s Day – Happy Mother’s Day to all the lovely ladies who care for us; we hope you enjoy your special day, you deserve it!
