Assistant Principal's Report
Ms. Jodie Purches
I am very excited to be taking on the role of the new Assistant Principal here at Reservoir. The support from staff and students as I have transitioned from the Innovations and Excellence Learning Specialist into my new role has been appreciated.
Well done to all Year 7 and 9 students for their participation in NAPLAN. You should all be commended for your commitment and approach to the test and although it was a hard slog trying to get through all the tests, you got there in the end. Teachers will be using this important information once it is released to help organise learning programs to cater for you all.
Progress reports are published via Compass at the end of Week 5. Students should check these reports to reflect on their current work practices and begin to set goals for the remainder of the term. They should check that they are up to date with all their work and CATS and meet with their teachers to see what they can do to improve prior to the end of term.
As the end of term is slowly approaching, end of semester reports will soon be upon us. These reports will be published during the last week of term via Compass on the 23rd of June. Parents are asked to discuss these reports with their child in preparation for Parent Teacher Conferences which will be early in Term 3.
Term two has been a very busy term in terms of Teaching and Learning and it is hard to believe that there are only 4 weeks of term left. I look forward to working with all students, parents, and staff as the year progresses.
