Darebin Interschool Athletics Competition

Our Interschool Athletics team competed in the Darebin Interschool Athletics Competition on Friday 27 May at the Meadowglen Athletics Track in Epping. 

The team was chosen based on performances in our own Fair Go Sports Athletics carnival in Term 1 and consisted of fifty students across all year levels. 

Our team was outstanding throughout the day with fantastic individual performances and relay performances, however what was most impressive was the team spirit, positive support and encouragement of each other across the whole day. In over twenty five years of interschool athletics teams this team was one of the best teams we have been involved with. 

The team was extremely successful on the day winning or placing in most events. We had numerous outstanding individual performances from a number of students from all year levels. 

Thank you to Mr Sirianni and Ms Doherty who officiated on events during the day. 

Massive congratulations to all students who competed in our Interschool Athletics Team, very proud of all of you!!! Well done all.
