Sistine Chapel Excursion

On the 31st of March, myself, along with the year 9 Italian students attended an excursion to the Sistine Chapel exhibition in the city. The group of us, including Mr. Sirianni and Ms. Gasbarro travelled to the city via tram. The exhibition was full-sized scale of the Sistine Chapel, in the Vatican.
Personally, getting to see the many paintings from a close-up perspective gave me a greater sense of appreciation than any small photo could. A fun piece of trivia I learnt from the excursion is that it took Michelangelo 4-5 entire years to paint the entire Chapel, which in total was approximately 460m² (for reference, that is about half of the gymnasium floor) in surface area.
