Year 11 Work Experience

During the last week of Term 1 our Year 11 students attended a week of work experience. We have received wonderful feedback from the employers about the work ethic, behaviour and reliability of our students and they should be commended. They are a credit to our community. Students have commented on how valuable the experience was in helping them consider possible career pathways. Lastly, thank you to our wonderful community for supporting our students on their placements and providing them with the opportunity to develop skills and experience the world of work.

“I learnt some vital skills about the nursery industry  - like giving plants hormones to help them grow quickly.” (Noah Van Haren – Fernview Nursery)

“Interesting, tiring and learnt a lot.” (Kade Lacsni)

“It was really good fun, I learnt loads of building skills and we put up $30,000 worth of windows!” (Jacob McLaughlin, Olive Lane Construction).
