School Performance
At Emerald Secondary College we are proud of the achievement of our students and staff. I would like to give a particular shout out today to our Maths team. We have been notified that Emerald Secondary College have achieved the second-best results in the Outer Eastern Network in Numeracy measures. This has been brought about by maintaining students in the top two bands in NAPLAN, reducing student performance in the bottom two bands and improving learning gains for our students.

Campion is opening a new retail service centre in Hallam, with space for even more resources and better parking, to make it easier for families to visit for purchases, Click & Collect, exchanges, refunds and digital help. As a result, the current store in Berwick will close.
The timeline for the change can be seen below.
- From Friday 29 April, Campion’s Berwick store will close.
- Parents can order online for Click & Collect or via delivery, at campion.com.au.
- Click & Collect can be picked up at Campion Dandenong South (88-92 Waterview Close) during May & June.
- Our new store in Hallam opens in July – Campion will let you know details as we get closer.
- Other Campion stores are located in Moorabbin and Nunawading; a full list can be found at campion.com.au/store-locations

Welcome to our new Instrumental Teachers
Emerald Secondary College would like to give a warm welcome to three new Instrumental Teachers to complement our Instrumental Music Program:
Lesley Yim – Piano and Keyboards
Eddie Cole – Guitar and Bass
Rod McLeod – Drums, World Percussion and the Kora
Extra-Curricular Activities – Esports
In Term 2 we have a new Esports activity happening at the College. We are hoping that the sessions will run weekly during lunch time.
