SDSSA District Athletics 

On Friday 1st April, 54 GWPS students participated in the SDSSA District Athletics Carnival.  Following successful performances at our intra-school event, this carnival allowed our students to put their skills to the test by competing against students from other schools in the district.  GWPS students showed some remarkable performances, with many taking home ribbons.  Students who performed well in their events will be given the opportunity to move to the next level of competition, participating in the Monash Divisional Carnival next term.  We could not be prouder of our students.  The resilience, sportsmanship and determination that they showed was a pleasure to witness.  Thanks must go to Mr Welsh and Mrs Lee who supported our students at the carnival and assisted with the smooth running of events.  Good luck to all students who are progressing to the next level!
