CONGRATULATIONS
Angus Schmude and Ben Cox
Angus and Ben spent last week in Bathurst competing at the PSSA NSW Hockey championships as part of the Polding team. After a week of great hockey, that had the team thoroughly worn out by day 5, Angus was selected to represent NSW in the combined state team. Well done both boys on a great achievement.
Lucy Bible
On Monday Lucy Bible competed as part of the Armidale Diocesan Cross Country team at Eastern Creek. She did exceptionally well to come in 20th against a very strong field.
ATHLETICS CARNIVAL - 15TH JUNE
Miss Murtagh has been conducting trials for the field events over the past few weeks in PE lessons and where possible we are holding extra trials for students that are absent. We will finalise the results for these trials on Friday and send out a compass notification stating the students that will compete in the finals at the carnival next Wednesday. High Jump is run entirely at school due to the time needed to run the event and the winners will be announced at the carnival.
We look forward to seeing you all at O'Connor for what is always a great day of sport. If you are available to help please let the office know as we still have a few timekeeper spots to fill.

Track
Students to leave school at 9am with the aim of starting events at 9:30 am
Track and field events run concurrently however, track events take precedence over field events. Competitors will need to leave any field events when track races are called and return on completion of their race.
