NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST BULLYING AND VIOLENCE

"KINDNESS CULTURE" DAY

Friday the 18th of March saw us celebrate the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence (or "Kindness Culture" Day) as part of our Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships program). Students completed lessons and learning about what being kind looks like, feels like and sounds like and posed for some photos with their friends.

Every student made their own piece of bunting which they decorated with messages of kindness, which our Allied Health and Wellbeing team cut, laminated and hung on the fence of Balaclava Road to show the public our learning.

Students enjoyed a 'gallery walk' down the footpath to see the completed masterpiece!

Our theme for the remainder of Term One is Emotional Literacy; understanding our feelings and the feelings of others.
