Parent Teacher Student Interviews
Dear Parents/Carers
As previously communicated, the upcoming Parent Student Teacher Interviews will be conducted using Google Meet. For the interviews to be successful, it is very important you enter the interview at the time the interview is scheduled. Please do not enter interviews early. During the parent student teacher sessions, a St Bede's IT Support staff member can assist by email or phone if you have issues. The phone number for support is
9582 5988 and the email address is helpdesk@stbedes.catholic.edu.au.
There are two methods for accessing the interview with your son's teacher.
Method 1 (recommended) – With your son on his computer
We recommend you attend interviews together with your son and use your son's laptop to access the Meets through Google Classroom. Your son is well practised in using Google Meet (and Google Classroom) so using his computer will minimise any technical issues.
Method 2 (alternate) – Using PAM on your own device
If you cannot attend the interview with your son or wish to use another computer or your phone, please access the Google Meet using PAM (Parent Access Module).
Information (videos and PDF guides) on how to use these two methods are provided on the following webpage. Could I please request that you visit this page and view the videos/PDFs to help familiarise yourself with the system before the parent teacher sessions.

EScooters
In a nutshell, it is ILLEGAL for E-Scooters to be used in any public place in Victoria (roads, footpaths, shared paths, parks, etc) .
They can ONLY be used on PRIVATE PROPERTY.
They are classified as MOTOR VEHICLES if they can travel at more than 10kph and produce 200 watts or more.
Therefore, they require a LICENCE, REGISTRATION, HELMET etc. if used in public or road-related areas.
Heavy Penalties apply for use in public areas.
The only exception to this is the current “Trial” of ride-share scooters for hire in certain areas of Melbourne.
