ANZAC Day

This year we called upon Year 9 and 10 Students to represent the College at the service as they have been studying WWI, WWII and the Vietnam War as part of their History course. It was however fantastic to see many of our College leaders in attendance too.

Our students represented the College very well and several members of the Mentone community reached out to Mark Jones and myself to congratulate them on their attendance and the level of respect they showed.

Special congratulations goes to Tom Gregory (10.4M) who read the ANZAC Requiem beautifully and to Lucas Shaw (10.32M) and James Sims (10.13M) who brought forward a wreath and a book for donation with Deb Frizza on behalf of the College.

Another special thankyou goes to Peter Robertson and the College Drum line who led the March down Mentone Parade creating a very special atmosphere for many returned veterans and their families, many of whom were marching for the first time since 2019.
