This Term our Science topic is ‘Weather in My World.’ The students have been encouraged to make daily observations about the weather and to discuss the use of symbols to represent different kinds of weather. We have begun to explore how weather forecasts influence decisions we make in our daily lives such as what we wear and do each day and how we travel depending on the weather.

The students have enjoyed looking at the symbols used in weather forecasts and had the opportunities to draw some of their own symbols.

Students will also link weather patterns to the seasons and lifestyle choices we make for each season.
