What a big fortnight in sport we have had!

Wednesday the 26th saw eight teams of tennis players, cricketers and volleyballers take on Brauer and Emmanuel. Congratulations to all the players that participated and thank you to our awesome coaches that accompanied our teams.

Cricket

• Mr Blooms’ Senior cricketers were chased down by Emmanuel losing 6/135 after 36 overs. Locki Warden made the most runs (40) which contributed to the teams 134. While Adam Sztynda, Mitch Annett, Lochie Worden, Xavier Kiensrod and Jayden Annett all played their part, taking wickets.
• Our champion senior girls’ cricket team not only one against the Warrnambool schools last week but headed to Ballarat on Wednesday where they dominated the Eureka Team. Retiring 1/68. Congratulations to Mr Howlett and the Senior girls.
• Emmanuel were the team to beat in the Intermediate boys, but our superstars stepped up to the mark! They fought hard but unfortunately ended up being defeated. Thank you to Mr Niddrie and Mr Patterson!

Tennis

• Mr Timms and his tennis teams showed good form, unfortunately the power house of Emmanuel were just too good on this occasion, taking all grades.

Volleyball

• Mrs Rantell’s Senior Boys and Intermediate Girls Volleyball faced some tough competition, both the sides ended up finishing 3rd in their competitions.
