TAFE Students

As you are aware the College took the step to remove students from TAFE for this week due to our concerns over COVID-19. We have been contacted by TAFE and they will remain operational for the time being. As such, the College will be allowing parents to decide whether to send their son to TAFE for their studies. Parents will be contacted directly in relation to this.

The VET faculty is currently in the process of reviewing various online delivery options should the College need to move towards online learning. All practical components of courses (which are the assessment tasks for competency) will be put on hold should this requirement become necessary.

Concreting Day

Congratulations to the Year 12 Construction classes led by Mr Abra and Mr O’Flynn on the successful completion of their concreting competencies. 30 boys laid six concrete slabs near the Junior School fields that will be used to put picnic tables and shelters on for much-needed seating and shade around the bottom fields.

Special thanks to Mr David Gray and Mr Gus Adam for their expert instruction on the day, ensuring our boys worked to industry standard.
