2021 Kindergarten Enrolment Applications
2021 Kindergarten Enrolment Forms are now available from the school office. You may also access the forms from our school website.
2020 School Fees
As mentioned in previous newsletters, School fees have been invoiced to all families and they are available to view in the Compass Parent Portal.
Last Friday, statements were emailed via the Compass Parent Portal. For those paying via BPay, your Biller Code and Reference Numbers have changed. If you were making payments using your previous details, payments will still deduct from your account. We ask if you could please change your details to reflect the new BPay details.
For your information payment requirements are as follows:
- For families who pay annually, payment in full is due on Friday 28 February.
- For families that have submitted a Request to Pay by Instalment or who previously had a School Fee Agreement in place, a schedule of the required payments and the due date will be issued with school fee statements. The first instalment payment will be due on 28 February 2020. Parents may commence payments earlier if they wish, however, it is important that any existing regular payment is equal to the instalment amount provided on the schedule and that payment is made on or before the due dates on the schedule. Reference should be made to the Request to Pay by Instalments on the school’s website for conditions relating to payment in this manner.
- For families who have a Fee Concession in place, you will be contacted prior to your review date to complete annual documentation and arrange an interview with the Principal. If you have a current payment plan in place, and you are unable to increase your payments to meet your 2020 school fees, you may continue to make these payments until your next review date.
- Parents should be aware that our new accounting system will send automatic reminders for overdue payments.
All student activity levies include all costs except the Swimming Carnival and Gala Days. These items will be billed separately through EVENTS on the COMPASS Parent Portal.
Vegetable Week & The Big Vegie Crunch
Did you know that currently only 5% of NSW children are eating enough vegetables? In order to work towards improving this percentage, we need to increase children’s knowledge, exposure and positive attitudes towards vegetables.
How can you help?
‘The Big Vegie Crunch’ is an attempt by NSW primary school students to break the record for the highest number of children eating vegetables simultaneously – and to get kids excited about vegetables!
Vegetable Week 2020 will run next week, with The Big Vegie Crunch at SJB, being held at 10:00 am on Thursday 5 March.
Please pack some vegetables for your child to eat for CRUNCH and SIP on this day so we can beat our own school record of 281 children crunching vegetables at the same time.
Are You Interested in OOSH Vacation Care?
CatholicCare would like to consider operating a CatholicCare vacation care OOSH program within the Illawarra (possible at one or two sites in the April holidays) as they have had a number of families who have expressed interest in accessing a CatholicCare vacation care program.
In order to gather interest, CatholicCare would like parents to complete a survey in anticipation of April School Holidays 2020.
The CatholicCare vacation care survey link can be found here .
CatholicCare ask that the survey be completed by 24 February.
