P & F 2020 Annual General Meeting

The P & F's AGM was held last Wednesday.  It was well attended and offered parents the opportunity to learn and have their say regarding various school activities. Several reports, including those from the Principal and P&F President, were presented to parents.   Elections were also held for the P&F Executive and all Sub-Committee positions.

The following parents were elected to Executive for 2020:

President:  Peter Ryan

Vice-President:  Kathleen Gillespie

Secretary:  Nigel Hall

Treasurer:  Helen Clunas

This year's Executive would like to thank the out-going President, Robyn Johnson for her leadership and guidance throughout 2019.

Numerous parents  - including some who were new to the school  - were elected to sub committee roles which operate the canteen, uniform shop, social events, etc.  This high level of parent participation is one of the outstanding features of St Joseph's.  It enables the P&F to offer a wide range of services and support to students and their families.   It also enables the P&F to act as an effective fund raising body.  For example, the soon to be completed installation of air conditioning in classrooms would not have been possible without the fundraising activities of the P&F and the generosity of parents.

Second Hand Uniform Shop - TOMORROW

Needing a few extra items to get you through the school term?

The uniform shop will be open TOMORROW from 8.35–9am in the school hall. Entry is via the school gate on Park Rd. Items available from 50c-$5 per piece (cash sales only).  Donations of any clean second hand items would be most appreciated. These can be left at the school office at any time.

Wanted - Used Lawn Mower

Do you - or someone you know - have a lawn mower that's no longer needed?  The P & F is seeking a petrol lawn mower in good condition to help keep the school grounds well presented.
