Library

What a week it’s been!! It was so fantastic seeing the students back in the library picking their own books. The library itself is still a work in progress, but we are getting there. Still a few things to put away and the tweaking of some displays. A lot of students commented on the new murals that are gracing the walls.

This year during the library sessions, we will be focusing on teaching the children the basics of Library, such as the different sections and the Dewey system used for fact/non-fiction books, which I hope they will enjoy and take away a little bit of “Library” knowledge so it will help them find what they want in any Library they go to.

The first Book Club for the year has been handed out and last call for orders, both via the Scholastic LOOP online ordering, or cash through the school, is tomorrow Friday 17th February.  Thank you for supporting Book Club.  The commission helps fund resources for the school.
