School Council Elections are now closed. Thank you to Alison, Tracy, Tory and Scott for their nominations, resulting in us filling all parent vacancies.  I would also like to acknowledge and extend my thanks to retiring member, Jess, for the time she has given to School Council and for her support over the last 12 months, in her role as School Council President. Thank you also to all 2022 members for their ongoing commitment to our school and willingness to share their skills and experience.

Our new Student Representative Council (SRC) was announced this week.  Congratulations to Sierra and Tully (Year 6), Charlize and Eli (Year 5), Luella and Arthur (Year 4), and Queenie and Hugh (Year 3).  I look forward to working with these students over the year and thank all students for their participation in this year's SRC election process.

Congratulations also to all the students who participated in last week's Division Swimming event.  It was great to hear of recounts of your fantastic team spirit as well as your achievement in the pool.  As a result, many of these students have now qualified to participate at the Regional Finals in Shepparton.   Good luck to all these students and thank you again to families for your support with transporting students to this event.

As indicated last week, we are seeking volunteers to join our fundraising committee and help us achieve our goals to improve our school grounds and curriculum resources. Amanda and Joy have made a start, so please contact the office if you have some ideas or time to help out.  Thanks to West Peak, this year our school will be participating in some of their Friday night raffles.  We'll let you know, once these dates have been confirmed.

We will also be looking for volunteers to help out with our Year 3-6 Cluster Athletics on Friday 31st March.  We will need parents to assist with events and also the BBQ.  Please add this date to your calendar and let the office know if you will be available to help out.

It is always great to hear of our student's achievements and the opportunities they have within our community.  Many thanks to Bella and Sophie for sharing their Dragon Boating experience with us from the weekend. We were all very impressed to hear how they had raced the Navy and came 2nd!  As members of the Junior State Team, Bella, Sophie and Ari will also be competing in the upcoming Australian Championships.
