Save the Date: International Women’s Day Breakfast

Venue: Dillon Centre
Members of the Parents’ Association are in the process of organising an International Women’s Day Breakfast. This is an inaugural event and a wonderful opportunity for mothers (or significant others) and daughters to come together in a relaxed environment to have a cup of tea or coffee with a muffin or croissant, and just spend an hour or so relaxing and mingling with other parents. One of the College musical ensembles will also be playing throughout the morning.
All families received a ‘Save a Date’ last week and an official invitation will be sent out in the coming days. Keep an eye out for the TryBooking link, to book your places.
Parent’s Association Meeting
Monday 27 February
As per my message in last fortnight’s newsletter, approximately once per term the Parents’ Association conducts a meeting in which parents are offered the chance to contribute to the life of the College. It is an opportunity to continue an ongoing partnership between the College and the parents of the students in our care. I once again invite parents/guardians to play an active and crucial part at Academy and should you be so inclined you are most welcome to attend our first meeting of the year on Monday 27 February beginning at 7pm in the College Library. If you would like to attend, please email me directly and I will add you to the email distribution list. Thank you to those parents who have already emailed. The Parents’ Association has grown substantially in the past three years and I am looking forward to working with you all again this year.
