Declan Croker Year 9.8
Declan was recently chosen to represent the Southern Mariners U14 Baseball representative team. Declan is a pitcher and plays first base for the team. Over the Australia Day long weekend they played in Geelong against other Victorian representative regions in a gruelling 6 game 3 day Junior League State Championships. Declan and his team of Southern Mariners played amazing baseball to now qualify them for the Junior League National Baseball titles for which they will now travel to the Gold Coast at Easter representing Victoria with the winner heading to Taiwan to play in the World Junior League Series.

Cycling Series
Update & results of the Victorian Inter Schools for St Bede's College.
Term 4 2014 St Bede's competed in 3 events with the last race being a Team Time Trial held at Sandown Race Track where St Bede's College won Gold in a combination Team of 4 with Brighton Secondary in the M15A category.
Term 1 2015 there are 4 events remaining . Last Sunday Josh Heather and Ben Foster
( Year 8 ) competed in event 4 for St Bede's College in the Individual Hill Climb time trial up Arthur's Seat before the last stage of the Herald sun Tour .
Josh placed 2nd and Ben placed 6th in the M15 A category .
St Bede's College are currently placed 2nd (Ben) & (Josh) 5th on the overall points leader board .
Over the Christmas holidays Josh and Ben competed for Carnegie Caulfield cycling club / Hampton Cycles & enjoyed events held at Hisense Arena ,The Victorian Track Christmas Carnivals held in country Victoria in Horsham, Bendigo, Shepparton, Wangaratta & Echuca. The boys also competed at State Junior Track Championships in Melbourne and raced for Victoria at the National Junior Track Championships in Adelaide and enjoyed the Tour Down Under while in SA .
The boys Cycling results were good over the Christmas Holidays with Josh being selected for the M15 Victorian Junior Track Team for 2015 and Ben finishing 1st place overall in the M15 Aggregate over the Junior Victorian Christmas Carnivals & Josh placing equal 2nd
The boys have set new goals & are looking forward to joining a newly formed Cycling Junior Road Development Team in 2015 .
