Year 9 Science

The Year 9 students are busy with their Independent Investigations.  

The students are required to choose a topic that they have found interesting and develop their understanding of that topic through practical work.  They must design and plan the practical using their knowledge of the Scientific Method.

Collaborative work is the key to this project, since the students work as a team and communicate with the laboratory technicians to order equipment and meet the safety requirements of the science department.

There have been many exciting projects from various psychology experiments to homeostasis experiments to fuel combustion experiments.

Well done Year 9!
