Year 9 Athlete Development class

Thanks to the 16 students from the Year 9 Athlete Development class that assisted at the local 'Primary School District Swimming Carnival' at Croydon Memorial Pool on Friday 16 November.

The students were involved in time keeping, place judging and start marshalling on the day.  

The students did a great job to make the day run well. It was also a great experience for the students to see what goes on behind the scenes to make a sporting event run.

Year 8 Boys Basketball

Congratulations to the Year 8 boys that participated in the School Sport Victoria State Basketball final at MSAC, Monday 19 November. The boys played 3 games on the day.

An excellent performance by the team to make it to the State Final and end up as the 3rd or 4th best team in the state.

Well done to Cooper Rouget, Rhys Crossley and Wyatt Stewart (from Year 7) who played great basketball all day.

Australian Schools Basketball Championships

The Senior Boys Basketball team kicked off their week in the Australian Schools Championship with the opening ceremony on Sunday night.   The boys will be competing in the Under 20 Division 1.

The boys are off to a good start, winning the 3x3 Hustle yesterday.  Their T-Shirts were presented by former LHS student and Olympian, Jaele Patrick.

Good luck to the boys for the week.
