School Tour & Morning Tea
Lilydale High School invites Grade 4 & 5 Parents and Guardians to a School Tour and Morning Tea on Friday 14 December.
The tour commences at 9.15 am from the School Office.
RSVP for the Friday Morning Tea by Thursday 13 December - 9735 5644.
Enquiries regarding transition to Year 7 should be directed to Tracey Hope or Jane Hemmings, Year 7 Transition Co-ordinators.
2019 Booklists
Booklists for next year are NOW available on the school website homepage from Lilydale Books.
Second Hand Books
Second hand books can be bought and sold through Lilydale Books.
Second hand books are accepted between MONDAY 12 NOVEMBER, 2018 to MONDAY 7 JANUARY, 2019.
Customers can collect money for their second hand books from Monday 11 February, 2019.
Trading Hours
Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 5.30 pm
Saturday - 9.00 am to 12.00 pm
Students EXITING 2018
Parents and Guardians of students who are exiting Lilydale High School at the end of this year are required to complete and return an Exit Form to the Administration Office (available from the Administration Office).
We need to know if your child will be undertaking one of the following;
- Transferring to another school
- TAFE (Institute/Course)
- Apprenticeship/Traineeship
- Full Time /Part Time Employment
- Seeking Employment
- Other reason
Before a student can leave school, they must satisfactorily complete Year 10 and until the age of 17, they must be in some form of full time training or employment.
Training options can include;
- VCE
- VCAL
- Full time TAFE
- Apprenticeships
Students wishing to leave school before these requirements are met, must put in a request for exemption to the Regional Director in consultation with Lilydale High School.
Students in Years 10 to 12 will be required to have a ‘MIPs Exit Interview’ with a MIPs/Careers Counsellor prior to exiting.
School Reports
Once students are removed from current student records at the school, their REPORTS can NO LONGER be accessed via the Parent Portal (Compass).
Parents and Guardians are advised to print/download and save the reports for future reference.
2019 Parent Payments
The parent payment determined by School Council each year provides the vital funds necessary for Lilydale High School to continue to provide excellent facilities, and sufficient teaching and curriculum resources to ensure a high quality education for all students. A significant proportion of the school’s cash budget is made up of parent contributions.
The Lilydale High School Council has determined the parent payment for 2019 as follows:
A discount of $30.00 per student will apply to all parent payments paid in full on or before 28 February 2019. The discount will not apply if only the locker/service fees are paid.
