10 Year Reunion

Class of 2007

On Sunday 12 November 2017, the Class of 2007 celebrated 10 years since graduating from Kilbreda College.

Around 50 past students attended the reunion, generously hosted by Lydford & Co Wine + Tapas. There were plenty of warm embraces and laughter, as we reminisced about our high school years and shared stories about the diverse paths we have taken since leaving the Kilbreda gates. Many have travelled all around the world but just as many still call South East Melbourne home.

A special highlight was receiving the letters we wrote to ourselves on our last day of Year 12, expressing our hopes and dreams for our future selves. While some letters definitely made us cringe, we are grateful to Kilbreda for keeping them safe over the many years!

10 years ago in our final year at Kilbreda, we celebrated the importance of education as the 'Most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world' (Nelson Mandela). Today, we see the product of that education in a generation of strong, intelligent, Kilbreda women who are leading their communities as educators, healers, creators, entertainers and much more.
