Zumba Club
¡Hola!
This Friday the Spanish Zumba Club will be hosting a big Zumba party in the gym for the first half of lunch. They will be performing fun songs from artists such as Bruno Mars, Chris Brown and of course, a bit of Ricky Martin. Everyone is invited to come and dance. There will be lollies and prizes to people who are having a go and having fun.
Parents and teachers are also invited to come and dance! There will be prizes for you too! Although you’ll have to beat Mr De Ley and Mr Hamilton’s cool dance moves!
This week in Spanish, students will be learning some Zumba moves to get ready for Friday.
Hope to see you all on Friday!

Office Reminders
Reminder to all parents that teachers are on yard duty from 8.45am before school and until 3.45pm after school.
We are noticing an increasing number of students being dropped off to school early, and not being picked up when school finishes.
We understand that things happen, and people run late, but please contact the school before 3.30pm if you need your child to wait at the Office.
Could all families please organise a place for their students to meet after school. Our school Office is very busy at the end of the day and we are unable to make announcements for large numbers of siblings who have not arranged a place to meet.
Please remember to send exact money if paying for excursions in cash as the Office does not keep a float to give change.
If your child requires medicine to be given at school, a signed medical permission form must be provided with the medication in its original packaging. Please see the Office for these forms.
When children are picked up early by someone other than the parent, the Office must be notified in advance. This can be done by phone call or note, but the person doing the pick-up must be on the emergency contacts list, and they must present valid photo id when they sign the child out of the Office.
Saver Plus
Saver Plus is Australia’s largest and longest running financial education and matched savings program, with more than 20,000 participants to date.
Saver Plus is a free program that requires participants to set a savings goal, save up to $25 a fortnight and attend financial education workshops. When participants reach their savings goal after 10 months they are provided with dollar-for-dollar matched savings funds, up to $500. Some of the items that the matched savings of $500 can be spent on include text books, uniforms, school shoes, computers, swimming lessons, music lessons, apprenticeship costs, school camps & excursions.
"I joined Saver Plus thinking that I was on top of my financial situation, which was to struggle from week to week. I didn't realise that it could be different! I now look at savings, no matter how small, as an opportunity for the future and not a restriction on today. The program gave me the resources to provide my three children new school uniforms, something I haven’t achieved before now." (Saver Plus participant)
Participants may be eligible if they have a
· Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card
· are at least 18 years old and have not previously enrolled in the Program
· have some regular income from work (themselves or partner)
· have a child at school or study themselves.
OSHC School Holiday Program
Camp Australia will be running several activities during the school holidays. Details are available on the parent portal, or the Office.
