Little Learners Love Literacy

The Prep students continue to thrive using Little Learners Love Literacy in the classroom. Last week the Prep students were very excited to share how they are learning to spell. They used the phonemes they have been taught, to decode and spell 3 letter words. The Prep teachers read a word and the students circle each sound they hear, they then blend the sounds together to write the word. 

 Lamont Book Fair

It is very exciting news that our Book Fair is back this year. Lamont Books is an Australian owned company, they have packed the best books into the Book Fair and aim to bring joy and excitement about books to OLA. On top of that the Book Fair raises funds or books for our school at the same time! It will be in Brigid Hall and will open before and after school, starting on Monday 20 after school and finishing Friday 24 before school. We will also have it open during Parent teacher interviews. 

There will be a staff member at the Book Fair and families can pay with cash or credit. Families may also purchase online and pick up at school. If you wish to do so please follow this link. https://payments.lamontauthors.com.au/
