Well done to our Fire Carriers for organising the OLA Indigenous Reflective Walk. This involved the whole school visiting a series of 12 stations with their classes. At each station their class viewed an image, read information and discussed a wondering question. This encouraged our students to see, listen and reflect on various aspects of our Indigneous culture. We congratulate Sara, Maggie, Connor and Lucas for their dedication and time in preparing this special event for our school.
Write a holiday journal!
This could help your child practise writing skills and share their holiday experience with school friends and teachers when they come back.
Writing in a journal is also helpful with processing feelings and ideas. Have fun!

Today the Grade 3/4 students took part in a Prime Science Incursion that explored Earth and Space Sciences. We learnt about the earth’s rotations and orbits and where the earth is in relation to the other planets in our solar system. We created rockets using plastic film canisters, water and fizzy tablets. Students learnt how many days it takes each planet to rotate around the sun and made pocket solar systems to help us remember. We discussed that the seasons depend on the tilt of the earth and where it is in its rotation cycle. We had a great day learning about our Inquiry topic through hands on learning experience!
