Team Green Report - ST MARY’S BOOK SWAP

St Mary’s had their first ever whole school Book Swap on Tuesday! Many families within our community cleared their shelves of books they no longer needed and our school (with the help of our awesome Parent Green Team) brought them back to life! All our students talked about the concept of sharing as a community the resources we already have rather than seeking more more more, new new new!! The result being every child received a book of interest and we have well over $1000 worth of new / near new books for our library! Well done St Mary’s for saving trees and money, bringing joy to our students and caring for our precious Earth.
