Fight MND Campaign

Student Report

East Doncaster Secondary College is overjoyed to bring the Big Freeze fundraising event to our goal for another year.  We have raised $5,335, exceeding the goal of $5000, all donations that were raised goes to FightMND which funds vital research to help find a cure for MND. MND stands for Motor Neurone Disease. It is an uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves. East Doncaster's student leaders have planned many events such as the Ice Bucket Challenge and Teacher Sponge Throwing event to reach the goal. A special thank you to Mr Dawe, Ms Morris, Mr Campbell, Ms Kaur, Ms Stevens, Ms La, Mr Poulton, Mr Roberts, Ms Boyle, Ms Kaufman, and Mr Robb that have helped out in order to run the events. Also a big thank you to the fundraisers. Ashwina S, Harris K, Maddie S, Zoe A, Nona S, Chiaki C, Katy H, Max D and Rebecca M. An extra thank you to friend of EDSC, Terry Daniher for speaking.
