VHAP TERM 1

Last term we had five year 5 and 6 students participate in the Victorian High Ability Program (VHAP). These students were selected to participate in the program by the Department of Education. VHAP runs each week of the term and is facilitated by teachers from Virtual Schools Victoria. It provides these students with access to challenging curriculum topics and the opportunity to work with like minded students.

Congratulations to Aini and Alexia from 5DC who participated in VHAP English, and Ethan (6SC), Jeremy (5DC) and Jason (5DC) who participated in VHAP Maths.

Congratulations to all these classes, particularly the Year 1 classes who have had a great start to the term with Nude Food.

SCHOOL PRIDE

A big thank you to 4SO and 1DG who tidied up the school yard as part of our School Pride program.

And a huge thank you to 5DC and PMC who helped out with the moving of mulch near the front of the school to help look after our garden beds. It was a huge job. The Year 5's did a marvellous job finishing off the work the preps had started.
