Interschool Sports Gala Day Playoffs
After a wet and rainy Monday last week saw the Senior Gala Day #2 cancelled, we were able to reschedule the event and compete in the playoffs on Friday. Congratulations to our Teeball, Cricket and Sofcrosse teams, who were triumphant and crowned district champions!
Well done to all our Senior students who competed and played with sportmanship, including the Hot Shots Tennis teams who reached the finals. Terms 2 and 3 will bring about the winter Gala Days with a new selection of sports for our students to learn and enjoy.
Thank you to the parent helpers who generously gave their time in the Term 1 Gala Days. If you wish to help at the next Sports Gala Days, please email robert.lewis@education.vic.gov.au

We greatly appreciate your support. Duties can include, standing on a check point and directing students the correct way, handing out finishing tags, lining up students in place order for the results table, handing out ribbons etc.
It is expected that all students in Years 3-6 participate in this event, as it is part of the CHPS PE program. There is no cost for this event.

Visual Arts News
Wow we made it through the Term!
This is a call out for some donated items for the Art Room. I am looking for magazines and any reference books that you might be throwing out. In particular any travel, cooking, children’s books, architecture, machinery etc that we can use for collage work. If you are doing a bit of Autumn cleaning over the Easter break and the magazines and books are suitable for Primary school, then I would love to have them.
Have a happy and safe Easter everyone.
