Foundation Mainstream Celebrating Learning

FA & FB participated in an incursion with educators from the Royal Botanic Gardens. Students found and painted items from nature with Educator/Artist, Claire. Students used oil pastels, crayons, and water colours to produce their artwork. 

Here are some comments about the incursion from some FA & FB student:

Navy: I liked drawing!

Romeo: I liked looking at everyone else’s work.

Florence: I liked collecting things from nature.

Kitty: I loved doing the gallery walk so much, it was so quiet and peaceful and I could hear the sounds of the birds.

Sabi: I loved painting because it's a rainbow.

Sena: I was excited because it was the first time going to the park together.

Bonnie: The best thing was painting!
