Hello St Brigid’s Families

 

What a great start to the year we have had!  Last week was National Volunteers week… National Volunteer Week is a chance for us all to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate the vital work and role of volunteers within our communities. Our school relies on volunteer support for classroom helpers, fundraising, social events, committee members and more throughout the year. With these awesome people volunteering their time, efforts, and energy, families are ensuring to support our beautiful school in continuing to thrive and be a connected and engaged community.  To all of St Brigid’s current, past and future volunteers, we really do thank you!  

 

Next… a really big thank you to the 3/4 rep’s, volunteers and So.Fun.Team for putting together an awesome event for the Special Person/Mother’s Day brekkie and stall.   We hope that all our special ladies enjoyed the morning together and received some lovely gifts from the St Brigid’s stall that the kids enjoy having the opportunity to buy from each year.  Thank you to Jodie, Hannah and Yasmin for running the stall this year, it was so greatly appreciated.  

 

 

Our Foundation–Year 4 Disco is coming up this Friday the 26th of May.  We look forward to a ripper night full of fun and dancing. Thank you to the 1/2 reps and volunteers who will be running this event on the day/night and a big thank you to the So.Fun.Team for bringing it altogether and organising the Disco.  Please remember if you have volunteered for this event, you must hold a current WWCC.  If you are a parent/family that is wanting to stay close to school between the 5pm–6.30pm timeslot, please feel free to head to the teachers staff room for a cuppa and chat while the kids enjoy a night of fun (while also having you close by if needed).  We will be refreshing the link to our volunteer page which will go out via the SkoolBag App before the end of term, as we have a few events coming up for term 3 and 4.
