The Edit
With the advent of winter it is great to know that students can now order a hot chocolate at the caf for $2.50 and are even encouraged to bring along their own (clean!) keep cup. (Almond milk also available). Huge thank you to Heather Rookes for running the caf and offering such a great selection of food/drinks. Our School Council is also busy organising a raffle to raise much-needed funds for a new dishwasher and oven for the caf - stay tuned for more to come. Our caf is a much-used and loved hub of our school and we need to make sure we maintain it for future years. The delicious smell of hot food on a cold winter's day here at recess or lunch is a huge draw-card for both students and staff alike!
In this week's edition we congratulate two of our Indonesian studies students on getting to the final round of the 'Sayembara Lisan' - read all about it in class news. We also have some more action shots from the Athletics Day from photographer Rosemary Oldis, including some ripping ones of the running events and some students even playing the guitar and uke!
3,144 push-ups in 23 days: Are you up for the Challenge?
Some of our MBSC Staff are participating in the Push-Up challenge - pushing for mental health. Read about it in the Staff News page and let's support them and their worthy cause.
Are you a student who is interested in event organisation and wants to get involved? See our student news page for more details. And lastly - congrats to our students who competed in the recent cross country and to those who have qualified for the Hume Region.
