Pela and Atticus were thrilled to receive their book orders !
There are many great books available to buy.
The students will visit the BOOK FAIR with their classroom teachers and will create wishlists of book(s) you may purchase online or in person by calling in on Wednesday May 31 or Wednesday, June 7 with your children, before or after school.
(Online and credit card payment only). The selections will then be delivered to your child's classroom.
On Friday, June 2, when grandparents and special friends are visiting our school, they may pop into the LRC (Library Resource Centre) between 8.30-8.45am and/or
11-11.15am to browse the books available at our Lamont Book Fair. Using the wishlist, families then order and pay for selected books online and these will be delivered following the Book Fair. It is important to note that once orders are processed, the selected books will be delivered to students to be taken home.
CHESS CLUB
The CHESS club operates on WEDNESDAYS in the library/resource centre. Please complete an expression of interest form if your child/ren would like to be involved or
notify me via email. Our students have made these comments about Chess Club: "It's fantastic! You get to steal pieces" Joshua H.
'It's really cool. It helps your brain'.
Tommy K and Jack
'It helps your brain get better'.
'It's a way of getting your brain active'.
Isla and Sophie
'You can say Checkmate!'
Atticus
Forms are available at the office for new enrolments.
A huge 'Thank you' to the families who have covered books for our library.
Happy Reading.
