Combined Cluster Formal

On Friday May 12th our senior students had their combined formal. We hosted Goroke P-12 College and Balmoral K-12 College senior students and teachers at the Edenhope Town Hall. We thank our Shire for providing funding through Engage in order for this night to be put together. Staff and students enjoyed a two-course meal catered by Kings Katering. After a very intense game of musical chairs, students danced the night away. I’d like to thank all our Year 8 students who assisted Friday afternoon and all the Edenhope staff and students for assisting packing the event down.

Equestrian Elective

This term students in the Equestrian Elective are focusing on jumping. They have worked together to design a course taking into consideration some factors to maintain a safe area. They have improved immensely with their riding as well as the interactions between rider and horse. We are looking forward to seeing some of the riders compete at the local Edenhope Winter Series Show jumping Competition in June.

Advance

Advance students from Edenhope College along with students from Goroke P-12 College recently attended the Summit Camp. A challenging experience designed to push the students out of their comfort zone, but one they all seemed to enjoy despite the 5am departure! Amongst the activities students encountered were the flying fox, Summit Skytower, a team mud run and the giant swing.

Hands on Learning

I made a coffee table in Hands on Learning with Mr Haack. I had to do some measuring, cutting, nailing, sanding, gluing and painting.

I painted it white. I gave it to Mum for Mother's Day.

VPC/VM Tour to Teys Meatworks

Senior students recently had the opportunity to visit Teys Meatworks in Naracoorte. The tour was followed by a delicious steak lunch.
