Go Team Joey's!
Go Team Joey's!

Congratulations to all 20 students that represented our school with pride at the Diocesan Cross Country Carnival in Barraba last Friday.  All students tried their very best and achieved some impressive results on the day. There was steep competition with up to 100 athletes in each age division. Special mention to Cody Searle (8th), Ricky Hird (12th) and Jorja Jamieson (17th), all finishing in the top 20 of their age groups. I was very impressed in the way students supported each other with outstanding cheering and comradery.

Here are some photos from the day...

Volleyball

Our students have really enjoyed the volleyball sessions so far.  We look forward to welcoming Toby back to school tomorrow for more skills and fun!

Athletics

Our Annual School Athletics Carnival will take place on Friday the 23rd of June at Golland Fields, Quirindi. Leading up to our carnival, students will be lead by teachers in practice sessions each Wednesday from week 6 - 9. These sessions will focus on building student confidence in running, long jump, shot put, discus and ball games.
