STAGE 2

MATHEMATICS:

In maths we are learning about 2D Shapes and their characteristics. Here you can see the students making pictures out of tangrams. Invented in China approximately 200 years ago, a tangram is a two-dimensional re-arrangement puzzle created by cutting a square into seven pieces — seven geometric shapes called “tans”

 LITERACY: 

Last term, we studied poetry. Below are some of the students efforts.

MUSIC:

Our class has been working with Miss Caterer from the Conservatorium of Music in Tamworth for music every second Tuesday. Listen to some of their drum work.

SPORT:

In sport the students have been learning volleyball with Toby from NSW Volleyball.
