Year 3 Emeralds Cooking

Year 3 Emeralds have been investigating different heat sources and how heat moves from one object to another.  Through hands on activities we have investigated and developed their knowledge in the conductivity of different materials. We had the opportunity to demonstrate our skills in the school kitchen. We made rocky road, looking at the different states of chocolate and butter before and after heat. We had so much fun experimenting with different matter and eating all of the chocolate!
